This is solid hardwood and needs to be nailed with an air nailer, it is pre finished and looks great. When you get started make sure all boards at the wall are no further away than the trim will cover. Just like any flooring you need to start in a area that the floor will run straight and square, make sure all cuts are square and all joints are staggered… this will give a better look. Just before I moved into my new house, I went to Bob Essis of Essis and Sons CarpetOne Mechanicsburg, to remove carpet and install hardwood floors. My house was about 90% covered in carpet. As my family has alergies, and we love wood, we decided to have 95% of the carpet removed. Bob and his team were able to come through for me on short notice. They busted their butts in getting my house ready in 3 days! They covered over 2000 square FT of hardwood floors! Not only was his prices the best in town, but the quality and professionalism is phenominal. In the video, one can see the transitions and quarter round work.
