How To Install A Solid Hardwood Floor
¾ thick solid hardwood floors can only be installed over a wood subfloor, at or above ground level. These instructions will show you how to install a ¾ thick solid hardwood floor over a plywood subfloor. Remember that a good flooring installation starts with a correctly prepared subfloor. use # 15 felt paper – overlap 3 inch . or # 30 felt paper edge to edge and tape with duct tape
do not use the rosin paper !!!!!!!!!!!!
and any crooked boards – can be used too
in middle of floor . or for starters , and end pieces
also use 18 gauge finish – trim gun – nail at 45 in tongue , than surface nail last two , sparingly – use liquid nails , shims and some weight . also when you cut place the floor piece finish side toward you , and the back against the back fence -
